Excel Vocab. 1
1. An active cell is a cell highlighted with a bold black boarder.
2. A cell is the box which the location can be found by labeled rows and columns (ex. cell A1), usually contains information such as texts, numbers, and graphics.
3. The first vertical line of cells is called Column-A.
4.The find command (located under edit or ctrl-f) can help you find text in the document.
5. The cell that performs calculations that begin with an equal sign is called formula.
6.Text entry is called label.
7.A cell or group of cells that can be selected is called range.
8.By click on replace you can replace words with new text.
9.A Row is the horizontal line of cells.
10. Value is basically a numeric entry.
